History

The Infectious Diseases Society of Kenya (IDSK) was established in 2015 as a nationwide association of medical professionals and Scientists specializing in the field of infectious diseases. The goal of the society is to improve the health of the Kenyan population by promoting excellence in patient care, capacity building, and research.

UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

Biennial Infectious Disease Conference 2017 (BIDCon 2017) - The Infectious Diseases Society of Kenya with support from the Ministry of Health, and in collaboration with the Unit of Clinical Infectious Disease University of Nairobi, the Aga Khan University Hospital Nairobi, Nairobi Hospital and MP Shah Hospital are organising the 2nd Biennial Infectious Disease Conference (BIDCon) 2017. The conference will be held at the Nairobi Hospital Convention Centre from 7- 8 July 2017.
